'Merlot a la Bouche' 2025

1 L

Sale price$21.50

This pure Merlot draws you in effortlessly — warm, inviting, and full of quiet charm. The nose blooms with vibrant notes of cherry and raspberry, before deeper whispers of blackberry and plum unfold, leading to a velvety palate with silky, perfectly integrated tannins and a soft, rounded finish. Generous and versatile by nature, it pairs beautifully with grilled red meats, barbecue, hearty stews, or a soft wedge of cheese, yet feels just as at home served slightly chilled among friends, where the best conversations have a habit of stretching long into the evening.

Chateau Fredignac

Chateau Fredignac begins with a love story. In 1919, just after WWI, a young Breton sailor named Jean-Marie L’Amouller visited northern Bordeaux. There he fell in love with a young woman from the town of picturesque farm town of Blaye. Jean-Marie bought his new bride a house and farmland near the village of Fredignac, and promptly went to work as a farmer producing dairy, wheat, and of course, wine. In the 1980s, his son Michel helped steer the family into grape monoculture, and Chateau Fredignac was officially born. Today the estate is managed by Michel’s children Vincent and Ludivine and has pivoted into biodynamic and sustainable production throughout its 15 hectares.
