Delivery in this range is free for all orders of $100 and up, and $6 for orders below $100. Additional fees may be applied for orders delivered outside our delivery range, on a case by case basis.
Where do you ship?
Greene Grape Wine & Spirits gladly ships wine and spirits purchased through this website throughout New York State, and ships accessories and other non-consumables throughout the United States. Currently, we do not ship spirits outside of New York State.
For shipments outside of New York, the sole responsibility for complying with local regulations or tax requirements rests with the customer. State laws change frequently, most recently in light of Covid-19, therefore acceptance of an order is not a guarantee that we will ultimately be able to ship wine to you. If we are unable to ship to your area, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and suggest that shipping be arranged to a direct-shipping friendly state.
Currently, we ship wine to the following states:
- Washington, D.C.
- New Hampshire*
- New Mexico*
- New York
- North Dakota
- West Virginia*
States marked with * have some local shipping restrictions; consult local laws in the area to be sure you or your recipient are eligible to receive a wine order. If your state is not listed but you believe you may be able to receive a wine shipment, or have any other shipping questions give us a call at (718) 797-9463 or email us at email@example.com.
For the protection of your wine, we recommend that all shipments are sent to a business address or an address that is equipped to receive shipments during standard business hours. This ensures your shipment won't remain in vans or warehouse facilities overnight without temperature controls.
When will my order ship?
Orders are shipped same day if received by 2pm. Time frame for shipping is between 3-8 days for FedEx Ground. Expedited shipping is not available at this time.
The delivery clock starts once the package is picked up by the delivery service, not when you submit your order.
Please note, due to COVID-19 some orders may experience delays.
If your order is listed as 'processing' on the tracking page, the shipping label has been prepared but has not yet been transferred to the carrier. Your tracking link will show movement and update automatically once your package is in the carrier's possession.
We do not ship after 5pm EST on Fridays, or on Saturdays or Sundays. Orders that come in after those times or on holidays will be shipped on the next available business day.
Whoops! I put the wrong address. How can I correct that?
Our online shopping cart captures the ship-to address exactly as you enter it. We do not edit or alter any address information without your explicit direction.
When placing your order please be sure to verify the correct address information has been entered before checking out. Please inspect your order confirmation immediately upon receipt. If you made any errors, email us as quickly as possible at firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call at (718) 797-9463, and we'll amend your address if we haven't shipped your order yet.
If the address is incorrect and delivery to the supplied ship-to address is not possible, we will attempt to contact you via phone or email to redirect the package. If we can't reach you, your order will be returned to our facility. If the package is in good condition, we can resend it once you pay the additional shipping costs. If the package is returned to us damaged, you will be responsible for placing a new order.
Wait! I want to add more products to my order! / I want to remove a product from my order!
Reach out to us at email@example.com or call us at (718) 797-9463 and if your order hasn't shipped yet, we'll be happy to amend your order! When removing products from an order, you will be refunded the cost of the removed products; the timing of the refund is dependent on your financial institution. When adding more products, you will receive an email with a payment request link for the additional cost of the products. Simple!
Greene Grape Wine & Spirits accepts returns on the following items:
- Defective wines, spirits and sakes
- Unopened bottles of spirits
We DO NOT accept returns on unopened bottles of wine or sake. Once a wine or sake leaves the store we can no longer guarantee proper storage and therefore we are not able to re-shelve the item. This policy is meant to protect all of our customers and we apologize for any inconvenience it may cause.
Defective items and unopened spirits may be exchanged for its purchase value or can be refunded in the original form of payment. Returns only accepted within 30 days of purchase. Once your request for a return is approved, you'll receive an email with a return label for you to print. Your refund will be processed once the returned product has been inspected and restocked in our inventory. Products improperly shipped back to us that are in poor or damaged condition as a result will not be refunded.
Claims & Exceptions
If a package arrives with damaged items, please send a photo of the item to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line: DAMAGED GOODS. Our customer service team must be contacted within 48 hours of receipt if you wish to file a claim.
The Greene Grape cannot be responsible for damaged product due to the following:
- Incorrect addresses – Please verify any apartment, suite, floor numbers with recipient before your order ships.
- Extended transit time due to weather or other “Acts of God”
- Orders sent to recipients who are out of town, unable to present proof of age for alcoholic beverages, or otherwise unavailable at the time of initial delivery attempt. Please notify the recipient of the pending arrival of a perishable delivery.
You must be over the age of 21 to purchase alcoholic beverages. Delivery of products containing alcohol require proof of age in the form of a valid, current photo ID. The name on the ID must match the name on the credit card used during the purchase and a signature must be provided by purchaser at time of delivery/pickup. If proper identification is not available at the time of delivery, your delivery will be refused and the order will be refunded. Greene Grape reserves the right to refuse service or cancel orders. We do not sell alcohol to any person under the age of 21 years or any visibly intoxicated person. Please be advised that it is punishable by law for any person to present false or fraudulent evidence for the purpose of purchasing alcoholic beverages.
