'Terraces' White Blend 2024

Rosswag is a hidden gem — a tiny village of just 1,200 souls nestled within an ancient amphitheater of terraced vineyards in the heart of Württemberg. These vineyards are as breathtaking as they are demanding, requiring almost entirely hand labor to farm. The local cooperative tends 99% of them, and has navigated the challenges of the modern wine market with remarkable skill. The remaining 1% belongs to Hannes Hoffmann and Olympia Samara of Roterfaden — the only independent estate farming these slopes. Hannes was born here; he and his wife have planted their flag in this singular place. In this collaboration, Roterfaden and the Rosswag cooperative have joined forces to celebrate the beauty of these terraced sites and the classic Württemberg varieties — Riesling, Weissburgunder, and Kerner — that call them home, while honoring the winemaking heritage that defines them.
