Point Ormond is everything that’s exciting about Australian wine today: delicious, high acid, versatile, bursting with personality, sometimes quirky, and always affordable. This sparkling Shiraz showcases all that and more. Sourced from a second-generation family owned and run estate, the grapes are sustainably farmed in the Robe GI of the Limestone Coast in South Australia. The wine is aged for six to eighteen months in neutral barriques with a second fermentation in stainless steel tanks for three weeks. The resulting wine is bursting with notes of cherry, liquorice, blackberry, and baking spice, making it the perfect accompaniment to roasted poultry, barbecued meats, and dark chocolate mousse.
