Talk about a hidden gem. This gorgeously structured and lush Cabernet Sauvignon hails from a tiny, but mighty and iconic winery in Oakville, near some of the area’s winemaking giants, including O’Shaugnessy Winery and Turnbull Wine Cellars. We can’t tell you which winery exactly — the name is protected by an NDA — but we can tell you it’s delicious. A dark ruby in the glass, the wine offers vibrant notes of black cherry, cassis, and blueberry compote against a backdrop of cedar, smoke, and baking spice. It’s a fabulous partner for steak, ribs, BBQ, and hearty salads.
