A family estate that goes back several generations, Christian Bellang took over from his parents in 1974 and his son, Christophe, joined him in 1995. Together they have plots in Meursault, Savigny lès Beaune, Chorey lès Beaune, and Beaune. This Chardonnay, grown in clay-limestone soils in Meursault, is pressed as whole clusters and aged in mostly used barrels for 10-18 months. A classic-style Meursault, this wine offers notes of lush fruit, slight citrus, white florals, hints of oak, and a clean saline finish. Enjoy alongside roasted poultry and mashed potatoes.
