For his Carignan, Yves Falmet hand-harvests low-yield fruit from 40-year old vines and ages it to capture all its spicy, black fruit. In the glass the wine is a dark, almost inky purple. The nose has hints of black cherry and blueberry, with a background of white pepper and sandalwood. On the palate, the wine is full of lush dark fruit that mixes with notes of black pepper and spice. In the finish the tannins are present but ripe. This wine is fun and easy to drink, but, at the same time, shows a lot of finesse and complexity.

My approach is pragmatic, responsible and above all anticipat
