Description

This light and juicy red hails from one of the world’s oldest wine regions. Produced from a blend of Saperavi fermented on Mtsvane skins and aged for six months in qvevri, the finish is filled with notes of blackcurrant, black berries, black cherry and notes of honey. Try it with roasted ham, vegetables, and bruschetta.

Anapea Village

Husband-and-wife team, Khatia Darguashvili and Gocha Tskitishvili started Anapea Village and their winemaking journey in 2013. They planted vineyards and built a winery in the east of Georgia, on land previously used by the Soviet authorities in the 20th century, with the hopes of rehabilitating the traditions of Georgian grape growing and winemaking. With a focus on organic farming and indigenous varietals, Anapea Village delivers clean, concentrated, and balanced wines.
