Gianni Doglia has produced wines in Castagnole delle Lanze, Asti, for more than three generations. “I was born in a barrel,” says current winemaker Gianni Doglia, about his deep love and knowledge of the region. A Moscato specialist, he works with his sister, Paola, to cultivate wine from sixteen hectares in Castagnole delle Lanze, Coazzolo and Nizza Monferrato. Straw yellow in the glass, with enticing aromas of white flowers and orchard fruits, sage and mint, this sweet, slightly sparkling wine is an excellent partner for desserts, cheese and even charcuterie.
