Gianni Doglia has produced wines in Castagnole delle Lanze, Asti, for more than three generations. “I was born in a barrel,” says current winemaker Gianni Doglia, about his deep love and knowledge of the region.  He works with his sister, Paola, to cultivate sixteen hectares of vineyards in Castagnole delle Lanze, Coazzolo and Nizza Monferrato. Gianni’s approach to sustainable agriculture and fine winemaking has earned critical and commercial accolades for the estate and its cuvees, each of which shine a spotlight on the unique terroir of this region. Indeed, he was named Gambero Rosso’s 2022 Grower of the Year.
