Sourced from a single vineyard near Seneca Lake, this bright and refreshing Cabernet Franc offers notes of dark red berries, savory green herbs, dark cocoa and baking spice backed by smooth tannins, and a food-friendly finish. Excellent with a chill, this wine was made for burgers and barbecue. Sustainable.

Osmote

Osmote is by Ben Riccardi, a young winemaker in New York’s Finger Lakes region. His work experiences include notably Willams Selyem in California, Craggy Range in New Zealand, and City Winery New York in Manhattan. Since 2014, he has invested in French oak barrels, purchasing the best Chardonnay he could afford and renting a small space in a winemaking facility. Today, Osmote produces nearly 500 cases of wine annually from grapes grown around Seneca Lake, the crown jewel of New York State's premier cool climate region, and is in the process of starting his own vineyard, working with a local dairy farmer to grow oats and hay as a soil-building project based on regenerative agriculture.
