Ojai Vineyard’s Chardonnay from Bien Nacido has been made the same way since 2000, where they stopped using new oak, and instead is fermented and aged in older neutral French oak barrels. This white wine boasts aromas of meyer lemons and nectarine, with hints of bee pollen and minerals, which is classic Bien Nacido. The palate echoes similar notes with a creamy mouthfeel. Enjoy on its own or alongside shellfish, pesto, or mac and cheese.
