Catch & Release Wines
Catch & Release was started in 2019 by Beno and Monica Stewart. A husband-and-wife project turned business, Catch & Release serves as an outlet for creative expression, partnership, and an opportunity to support those who choose to farm in a conscious manner. The aim is to make serious wines without taking themselves too seriously. Raw materials are at the core of their philosophy. The Stewarts source fruit comes from select organic or biodynamically farmed vineyards, that range from deep Mendocino to the Santa Cruz Mountains. All wines are fermented natively, with no additives, and the wines are bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfur.
