This until-recently obscure Italian apertitivo has garnered attention for its similarity to Kina Lillet, the more quinine forward and now defunct original formulation of Lillet Blanc. With a foundation of Moscato d'Asti fortified and flavored with gentian, cinchona, citrus and other botanicals, use this in place of Lillet, especially in the Vesper or Corpse Reviver #2, or simply drink over ice with a splash of soda.
