Description

Winemakers Stephen Dew and Reid Bosward are responsible for producing the wines under the Clare Wine Co brand, which was founded in 2008 by the owners of Kaesler Wines, Barossa Valley. This Watervale Riesling represent some of the finest fruit found in the region. Pale straw in the glass, the wine offers notes of zesty citrus, white peach, and crushed white flowers. On the palate, hints of lychee come forward and carry through to the length finish. A great option for spicy fare or fried chicken. 

Kaesler

Kaesler owns just over 37 hectares (92 acres) of vineyards in the Barossa Valley, the majority of which is old vine material planted in 1893, 1899, 1930 and in the 1960’s. Fruit is hand picked and hand pruned with irrigation kept to a minimum. Crop thinning is done in most years to reduce yields and maximize flavor with blocks kept separate until final blending.
