Hansjorg Rebholz, the winemaker at Weingut Rebholz, is often referred to as a genius. Apparently it runs in the family. His great-grandfather was a scientist that spent much of his life studying and experimenting with the art of winemaking. He challenged every convention of viticulture and vinification. The Rebholz estate was one of the first wineries in Germany to cease the use of harmful industrial practices and return to traditional organic farming and vinification. Rebholz is now certified biodynamic, offering clean, unique, honest wines that are a true reflection of soil, climate, and vintage. This crisp, focused white offers up pear, citrus and melon, with a spicy, mineral finish. Perfect for branzino.
