Founded in 2012 by husband and wife team Brendan and Laura Carter, Unico Zelo is a one-of-a-kind winery that champions Australian culture with playful, sustainable wines, crafted from drought-resistant grapes for easy enjoyment and a fresh perspective on Australian wine. The first Australian winery to become a Certified B-Corporation, the team behind Unico Zelo are big believers in holistic sustainability, looking beyond their immediate environment to also consider their community and social impact. A large driving force of this was their choice of grape varieties that minimize the need to irrigate and rely on synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and fungicides.
