From a single barrel of Grenache in 2016 to a bustling, carefully curated 1,000-case production today, Tipsy Rose Wines represents the passionate journey of Maria Chiancola, a former English Professor turned artisanal winemaker. What began as intellectual curiosity—working harvests with Jerome Bressy at Gourt de Mautens in France's prestigious Rasteau region—has blossomed into a boutique winery that honors both tradition and terroir.

Specializing in Rhone varietals, the winery practices true minimal intervention winemaking. This commitment to time and tradition extends throughout the entire process. Working intimately with trusted growers, Tipsy Rose sources exceptional organic and biodynamic fruit and ferments using native yeast at gentle 60-70 degree temperatures to allow for the slow development of complex, nuanced flavors that rushed processes simply cannot achieve. Minimal sulphur is used for safety and stability, and wines are carefully filtered at bottling for clarity and polish, while preserving their character and soul.
