Teacher's
The story of Teacher’s whisky dates back to more than 175 years ago, when the new ‘Excise Act’ was introduced and William Teacher was a 19-year old former-cotton mill worker, with an uncompromising attitude and whole barrelful of self-belief. The malt in Teacher’s is peat smoked, which is what gives their whisky its deep flavor and amber color. Though peat malting has come into fashion in the 21st century, Teacher's can proudly say they predate the trend by centuries.
