Sparkling Pointe
Nestled in the breezy and beautiful North Fork of Long Island, founders Cynthia and Tom Rosicki have created something unique in Sparkling Pointe Vineyards & Winery -- one of the few sparkling-only wineries in New York State. The maritime climate of this region, tempered by two bodies of water, the Long Island Sound and the Atlantic Ocean, provide long, warm summers with cooling breezes and moderate rainfall, while the glacial and sandy soils provide excellent drainage -- making this a great home for the winery’s 40 acres of vines, planted with Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay. Farming is certified sustainable by Long Island Sustainable Winegrowing Inc and overseen by North Fork veteran Steve Mudd. All wines are produced using only the traditional Méthode Champenoise by internationally renown expert winemaker Gilles Martin, former winemaker at Louis Roederer Estate.
