Founded in 2004 on the western shore of Seneca Lake by husband-wife team Mike Schnelle & Nancy Irelan, Red Tail Ridge Winery is the first New York state winery to be recognized as a leader in energy and environmental design. Everything at Red Tail Ridge reflects Nancy and Mike’s attention to detail—from the winery that they built from scratch to their limited production, premium, cool-climate varietal wines.
