Founded by husband-and-wife team, David and Debra Whiting, in 1998, Red Newt Cellars is located on the east side of Seneca Lake in Finger Lakes, New York. They have received recognition in a multitude of publications, most notably Food and Wine, Nations Restaurant News, and Wine Spectator. In 2014, David passed the reigns of winemaking to Kelby Russell, a queer winemaker, who oversees the production of single vineyard wines.
