Pelotón de la Muerte is a very clean, well-balanced mezcal that is  produced with traditional methods and 100% fully mature agave in Santiago Matatlan, Oaxaca, which is also known as “The World’s Capital of Mezcal.” The signature label of Pelotón de la Muerte, which means Brigade of Death, was the flag used by rebels during the Mexican Revolution who sought to enact revenge for the death of the priest Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, the founding father of Mexico’s independence.
