  • Organic

As its name implies, this wine, produced just outside of Darbonnay, combines the Jura’s three main red varieties—Poulsard, Pinot Noir, and Trousseau—in roughly equal proportions. Fresh, filled with peppery spice and elegant red fruits and notes of pink flowers, you can forget Aaron Judge, this wine is the real All-Star hitter. Try it with roasted chicken, French onion soup, and any cheese you like.

Domaine Pecheur

Located in Darbonnay, in the Cotes du Jura appellation of France, Domaine Pecheur was founded nearly 50 years ago with a single hectare of vineyards. Owned by the husband-and-wife team of Christian and Patricia Pecheur, the estate now consists of 8 hectares around the villages of Darbonnay and Passenans, and into Voiteur.
The vineyards are planted to the classic Jura mix: Chardonnay, Savagnin, Ploussard, Trousseau, and Pinot Noir.  The average age of the vineyards varies from between 35 to 50 years, which is to say, the Pêcheur family is working almost exclusively with old vines planted on rocky, pebbly dolomite and marlstone. Praticing organic.
