The Antinori family has been committed to the art of winemaking for over six centuries since 1385 when Giovanni di Piero Antinori became a member, of the “Arte Fiorentina dei Vinattieri”, the Florentine Winemakers’ Guild. In 1928, Niccolò Antinori decided to christen the wine with the name of the family’s villa to represent his personal interpretation of Chianti Classico and the unique identity of Tuscany. Antinori is an important cornerstone as its name is associated with over 100 years of history and continuous search for the very best of Tuscany.
