Marc Plouzeau
Thanks to the will of two generations, Château de la Bonneliére regained its nobility and its original destiny — vineyards and wine. In 1976, Pierre Plouzeau bought the family property, renovated the castle, and replanted the vineyards, and in 1989, a modern winery was born. Pierre's son, Marc, took over the domaine in 1999, eventually converting the vineyard and winery to organic. The vineyard extends over 30 hectares on the left bank of Chinon and is divided into three types of soil (gravel, clay limestone, and flint clay), all of which give rise to very different wines.
