Maison Fontan is located 150 kms south of Bordeaux and 120 kms east from Toulouse. Formerly a mixed-use farm with the know-how of the land and farmers, the estate has grown and specialized over the generations in sustainable viticulture, producing wine and Armagnac. Brother-and-sister duo Nadège and Sylvain Fontan are the fourth generation of farmers to care for this land, including their family vineyard of 80 hectares full of promise, using local varietals best suited to the terroir. Indeed, the winery’s motto is: “Respect for the Earth is Our Greatest Heritage.”
