Le Grandes Chais de France
Founded in 1979 by Joseph Helfrich, Les Grands Chais de France (GCF) has grown in a single generation into France's leading privately-owned winemaker. With over 3,000 hectares of vineyards, the GCF Group partners with growers across the country's most celebrated regions — from Alsace and Burgundy to Bordeaux, the Loire, Languedoc, and Provence — as well as Hungary and New Zealand. More than just a négociant, GCF is deeply involved at every stage of production, from tending the vines to winemaking, maturation, and logistics. This hands-on, end-to-end approach allows them to consistently deliver wines that reflect both regional character and the highest standards of craft.
