Lauverjat Perles Blanche Sancerre Blanc 2024
750ml
The Lauverjat family has been farming in Sancerre, in the tiny village of Sury-en-Vux for generations. The family had a mill on a tiny river called La Belaine that is next to the winery and they used to mill their own wheat; the winery is still known by some as the “Moulin des Vrillères”. This is their special cuvee, an intensely flavorful Sauvignon Blanc from vines that are about 55 years old. Golden hued in the glass, the nose is resplendent with notes of almond, linden, heather, and citrus. Perfect for any occasion, this is a great partner for everything from appetizers to seafood curries to white meats.
