Huia Vineyards
Founded by husband-and-wife duo Mike and Claire Allan in 1996, Huia Vineyards (pronounced "HOO-yah") is named after one of New Zealand’s most famous, the now-extinct Huia bird, as a way of broadcasting their intense commitment to protecting the environment through agriculture. Today, Huia is Marlborough’s only producer wholly dedicated to the production of minimal intervention, organically farmed wines.
