Herdade do Cebolal is a family-run estate situated on the  Costa Vicentina, along the Alentejo Coast, in the Setúbal Peninsula region of Portugal. Managed by the mother-son winemaking duo of Isabel Capitão and Luís Lufinha Mota Capitão, Herdade do Cebolal practices a truly exceptional style of winemaking that respects the authenticity of this terroir and the environment. Of the 85 hectares that comprise the estate, nearly 60 are forest, with the vineyards dedicated to organic and regenerative agriculture. Vines, bees, eucalytpus, cork and pine trees, sheep, pigs, and a gazillion other animals it home. The wines are made with minimal intervention, which allows the grapes and this areas unique soils to shine. A real gem in Portuguese wines.
