The Heeman's story begins in Holland in 1963 when Bill Heeman bought two tickets to Canada, biked to the next village where is sweetheart Susan lived, got down on one knee and asked her to marry him and move to start a new life in Canada. The duo bought 25 acres of farmland in Ontario and started a small farm as well as a family. Today, the farm has grown to encompass 70+ acres, state-of-the-art, solar-powered greenhouses, an award-winning Cidery, and three generations of farmers dedicated to quality and community!
