Hahn Family Wines
In the late 1970s, during the last days of disco, Nicky and Gaby Hahn purchased ranch lands in the rustic coastal mountains of Monterery and converted them to vineyards. The couple fell in love with the terroir and the impressive wines it yields, releasing the first vintage of Hahn Family Wines in 1980. Since then, Hahn Family Wines has become one of California wine country’s more compelling stories, from Nicky’s fierce advocacy for establishing the region as the Santa Lucia Highlands AVA, to the winery’s leadership in sustainble winemaking. In 2023, Hahn Family Wines joined the E.J. Gallo family of products.
