The unique and beautiful terroir of Ventoux shines in this blend of 90% Syrah and 10% Grenache from Jacques and Veronique Maubert. Hailing from a domaine on the southern foothills of Mount Ventoux in the Luberon, this wine is intensely red in the glass and offers a nose of spiced blackcurrants blackberries, violets, and licorice. Every sip is rich, yet balanced, bouncing harmoniously between mouthwatering fruit, sweet spice, and power. For best results, decant for a few hours and serve alongside lamb, beef, or game dishes.

Domaine de la Verriere

Domaine de la Verrière sits on 28 hectares above the Luberon Valley across from Bonnieux and Lacoste, at 250 meters above sea level. Historically this estate was a one of the most relevant properties of King Rene of Provence in 1470 who established a permanent art glass exposition coming from Italy and hence giving the name to the estate (verre in French means glass). Nowadays Jacques and Veronique Maubert handcraft less than 8,000 cases of stunning organic wines.
