Elegant. Lifted. Powerful. Three words to describe this Chateauneuf-du-Pape white from the Mestre family, one of the oldest in this renown region. A blend of Grenache, Clairette, Bourboulenc, and Roussane, the wine offers notes of white peach, pear, heather, and hazelnut flower, balanced by freshness and a lush, smooth finish. Beautifully complex, this is great for roasted poultry, fish, and even pork dishes.

Domaine de la Cote de L'Ange

The Mestre family is among the oldest in Châteauneuf du Pape — and that’s really saying something in a region with roots dating back thousands of years. The family has farmed and carefully worked the vines here for generations. By the 1960s, Monique and Jean Claude Mestre created their own vineyard with a few rows from nearby Coteau de l'Ange, taking over the family brand, and introducing techniques to preserve biodiversity and the health of the land. Now managed by their daughter, Corinne, with her sons Jules and Louis, no insecticides are used in the vineyard and no additives are used in the cellar, and the domaine has grown to become one of the most critically celebrated in the region.
