Salmon-colored, dry, and elegant, this Champagne is one of the flagship offerings of B. Stuyvesant Champagne, founded by Brooklyn-native Marvina Robinson, one of the few Black women to head a Champagne label. Produced at a vineyard in the Marne, the base wine is a blend of about 58% Pinot Noir, 22% Pinot Meunier and 20% Chardonnay. Hints of cherry blossom and raspberry on the nose give way to fleshy red currant and cherries on the palate, with a long and refreshing finish. Who needs a reason? Each sip is a celebration in itself.
