Domaine Pascal Bellier
Domaine Pascal Bellier is a family estate in Vineuil, in the Cheverny appellation of the Loire Valley, close to Blois and right above the Loire River. It was established in 1960 and is now run by Véronique and Pascal Bellier, who have led the domaine since 1995. The vines, averaging around 20 years old with some plots dating back 50 years, sit above the Loire River on two soil types: a thick limestone base topped by clay-silica soil, which favors the red varieties Pinot Noir and Gamay, and sandy, stony soil on a northwest-facing slope, favoring the white varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Romorantin. Committed to environmental stewardship, the domaine is certified Terra Vitis and HVE, reflecting sustainable farming practices that the family has maintained across three decades.
