Domaine Loberger
Domaine Loberger is situated about 20km south of Colmar, Alsace, in the small village of Bergholtz. This 8-hectare estate, which includes 3 Grand Crus (Kitterle, Saering, & Spiegel) is nestled in the hollow of the lower-Vosges, an ideal geological cradle for vine growing, with vineyards on steep slopes between 250m-480m above sea level. Against this stunning backdrop, winemaker Celine Loberger is practing incredibly thoughtful, biodynamic viticulture and crafting wines that capture the essence and potential of Alsace. Organic agriculture, strict adherence to biodynamic principles, soil preparation, conscientious manual harvesting and low yields are factors that help give these wines a perfect balance and a unique personality.
