Stump Jump GSM Blend 2020
750ml
A ruby red in the glass, this wine is made from 42% Grenache, 36% Shiraz, and 22% Mourvèdre, which come from old bushvines that undergo gentle crushing, traditional open tank fermentation, basket pressing and oak maturation prior to bottling. It offers tantalizing aromas of fresh red berries and Indian spices which carry through on the palate and evolves into notes of maraschino cherries, savory herbs, and a hint of smoked paprika. The wine is named after a Stump Jump plow, which enables a plowshare to jump over tree roots. It’s rumored that the inventor of the Stump Jump had poor eyesight and required regular tests to ensure he could still operate machinery. The design of this label is inspired by an optometrist's eyechart and serves as a makeshift sobriety test. If you can hold the bottle at arm's length and still read the front label, you can enjoy another glass with friends or alongside Mediterranean fare, grilled meats, mushroom risotto, and vegetable stews.
