Chateau Guiraud
A terroir of gravel, sand, and clay, surrounded by forests in the heart of Sauternes, Chateau Guiraud was purchased in 1766 by the Guiraud merchant family. Over the centuries, they’ve been known for their historic black and gold label, the commitment to the environment and organic farming, and their predilection for Sauvignon Blancs. A pioneer in biodiversity since 1996, they believe the energy of the living is soaked up by the earth, which is then reflected in the vines and their fruits.
