Description

Natty Bombo is a new project from Cascina Belmonte, located near Lake Garda, that combines the passion for nature (“natty”) with the commitment of first-generation farmer Enrico Di Martino to reintroduce heirloom bees (“bombo”) into a deliciously effervescent pink bubbly. A blend of organically grown Groppello, Barbera, Sangiovese, and Marzemino, the wine is vivacious and so fun on the palate, with notes of peach, citrus, white, and pink flowers. Balanced with mouthwatering freshness, elegant minerality and a beautiful salinity, this is a lovely option for an aperitif, sushi, or your favorite charcuterie board. 

Cascina Belmonte

Cascina Belmonte is a family run organic wine farm in the Muscoline district close to Lake Garda in Northern Italy. Stretching across 20 hectares, nine of which are vineyards dedicated to 15 varietals, Cascina Belmonte advocates what they call “clean and different” agriculture, inspired by ethical land stewardship and creativity. The land is incredibly biodiverse and farmed using exclusively sustainable methods — including re-introducing heirloom bees to the land to support natural pest control. The family’s stated goal: “A union aimed at producing clean fruits, wine, environment and a fair remuneration for those who work and collaborate in the adventure.”
