Antico Monastero

Situated in a former Benedictine monastery in the Langhe, just outside of Alba, Antico Monastero (quite literally, “ancient monastery”) has always been about passion, dedication, and knowledge. The monastery dates back to the middle ages, when the monks were more than simple clerics. They were teachers, sharing their agricultural knowledge with local families who’d been devastated by years of plague and war. Today, the winery and facilities are modern, but the intent behind production remains the same — honor the land and the people who work it.
