Tommasi Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 2017750 ml
Since 1902 the Tommasi family has dedicated itself to the art of viniculture in Valpolicella. This elegant ruby red wine is produced with indigenous grapes Corvina (50%), Corvinone (15%), Rondinella (30%), and Oseleta (5%), which are hand selected and dried for 4 months prior to being gently pressed. The Amarone is then aged for 3 years in Slavonian oak barrels. Best with red meats, game, and aged cheese, and enjoyable conversations.
Since the first small parcel of land in the Valpolicella Classica purchased by Giacomo Tommasi, the Tommasi family has been hard at work and committed to managing every aspect of the growth of the company, which directly defines them. This connection to the land, to the people and the markets, has honed their business insight, and strategic innovation, without ever losing touch of the respect and love harbored for the traditions and unique qualities that define this historic wine region. Today, they own 599 hectares of land in some of Italy's most intriguing and prestigious winemaking regions.
