This red blend of Garnatxa and Cabernet Sauvignon is a natural wine, made with indigenous yeasts and organically grown grapes. The nose is dominated by ripe red and black fruit and warm spice, flavors which wash over the palate with balanced acidity and an elegant mouthfeel. The finish is long, persistent, and unforgettable.


In 2003, Joan and Joseph Cusiné together with spouses Maria Elena Jiménez and Marta Casas, the winemakers in Parés Baltà, started Gratavinum with Jordi Fernandez in Priorat. That was the beginning of Gratavinum whose name comes from the contraction of Gratallops (the name of the village where the winery is located) and Vinum, in homage to the ancient Romans, who introduced the cultivation of vines in the region centuries ago.
