When a local Oregon winery went out of business, acclaimed sommelier/winemaker André Hueston Mack scooped up a few barrels of Pinot Noir that still needed bottling, referring to it as "O.P.P," or "other people’s pinot." Over the years, the label has expanded to include this elegant pinot gris that is as approachable as it is expressive and exciting. The wine opens with aromas of ripe Bosc pears, apple and peach blossoms that expand into lush, ripe fruit on the palate, balanced by refreshing minerality and bright acidity. A great match for semi-firm cheeses, roasted poultry and hearty grain salads.
