Description

Named for our country's founding fathers, Founders Rye Whiskey is aged in virgin American white oak barrels for a minimum of 6 years. This rye brings out the best of Taconic Distillery’s terroir, while the addition of mineral-rich, artisanal spring water from the farm cools the whiskey resulting in an exceptionally smooth rye. Rye lovers will appreciate its bold, spicy flavor with a mildly sweet finish.

Taconic Distillery, established in 2013, is a purveyor of fine craft spirits located in the Hudson Valley of New York. They handcraft their award-winning bourbon and rye whiskies in small batches using the finest ingredients, including grains grown in New York and natural spring water from their farm. Inspired by hunting and fishing, Taconic embraces a passion for the outdoors and that passion is imprinted on all their spirits, which  are brilliant for simple sipping as well as traditional and signature cocktails.
