Description
This unique dry wine hails from Tokaj , a village in the extreme northeast of Hungary. Acclaimed as one of the most favorable sites for Aszú in Tokaj, the Disznókő estate is a single tract of land, planted with noble grape varieties of the Tokaj Wine Region, mainly Furmint. Made entirely from the Furmint grape the wine is fresh and aromatic with hints of white flowers and grapefruit. On the palate, exotic fruits with pear and quince followed by a lingering mineral, salty finish. Refreshingly elegant this wine is an exceptional aperitif or partner for light fare.
