Bench Lands Pinot Noir 19

750 ml
Bench Lands is 100% Pinot Noir utilizing fruit from several different vineyards, all growing along benches of the Umpqua River. These soils are diverse mixes of alluviums deposited along the Umpqua, originating in the three mountain ranges that encircle this river valley, the Klamath -Siskiyous, the Cascades and the Coast Range. This Pinot Noir has a lovely translucent ruby color with aromas of bright bing cherry, ripe plum, clove, cinnamon and nutmeg. On the palate, tart strawberry, red beets, and blueberry notes entice with a tangy, bright richness. The finish is long, full, with all of the components lingering upon your palate. This is a great wine to be paired with your next craving: rich cheeses, salmon, roast pork, fowl, pastas, or even a hearty stew.

Husband and wife team, Terry and Sure Brandborg, are self-taught in winemaking and farming, and continue to learn more with each vintage they produce.
