Le Clos Rouge
The story of Le Clos Rouge is above all a story of passion. Established in 2013 with just 2 hectares of vines by Krystel Brot-Weissenbah and Joël Peyre, the estate today extends across 13.5 high-altitude vineyards surrounded by scrubland, olive trees, iron-rich hematite and schist soils, which impart a beautiful structure and minerality to the wines. Le Clos Rouge produces organic wines in the heart of the Terrasses du Larzac appellation in the Rhone Valley. All vineyard are farmed biodynamically and wines are produced using only native yeasts and with no additives or preservatives.
