Domaine Gayrard

Founded nearly 500 years ago close to Cordes sur Ciel, on the northern edge of Gaillac, near the Tarn river, Domaine Gayrard sits on an exceptional terroir dominated by oak trees and truffles. Here, in 1950, Maurice Gayrard moved from merely growing grapes to producing and marketing his own wine at the estate, becoming one of the first producers of bottled wine in Gaillac. The family's remarkable story continues today. Under the leadership of Maurice’s grandson, Pierre Fabre, and his partner, Laure, Domaine Gayrard now occupies more than 30 hectares and practices biodynamic farming, more determined than ever to produce wines that shine a light on the unique biodiversity and potential of Gaillac.
